A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Nightcrawler as he pontificates in his philosophical manner, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Bloodlines," which aired on October 26, 1996. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x10", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear and cel discoloration, slight line wear, paint loss at the bottom of the character image, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
